It's just hard to believe when people say this in November and December. Pooka wasn't supposed to qualify either.

He's trolling like he was asked. It's twofold- holding out till NSD like Surtain screws us over if we're not recruiting the fallbacks like we should be. Secondly, it will twist the knife even more when he puts an aTm, lsu and Bama hat on the table and makes his "bidness duhsishun".

That money keeps funneling through the barber shop. Cash business up there with no receipts.

Maybe he's going to pull a Surtain.

He’s scared of the backlash and doesn’t mind seeing LSU waste their time and efforts! Hope I’m wrong, but he’s not a good kid nor has good parents if so. But it’s a possibility that our truth is not the truth at all!

I would assume....
1) to keep LSU focusing on his recruitment, thus preventing them from concentrating time/effort on other targets.

2) in order to keep the kid from having to deal with BS from LSU fans while he's prepping for the State Championship.

As I said.....assume.

I dont buy that narrative. Some of these recruits have such huge egos. I cant see him letting Saban use him as a pawn. Especially a top 10 player in the country.

He’s either reaping the benefits of the recruitment process, is afraid of the backlash, or hasnt decided yet.

Because apparently Saban is still able to fool dumbasses like you still somehow in recruiting. No wonder Surtain was able to fool our shrimp boat captain HC .

I keep reading on this board that he’s definitely going to commit to Alabama. If that’s the case, why is he still uncommitted?

You can tell the guys that dont follow recruiting. Yeah prety sure he is a silent to bama and as other have said will not commit till last min. Saban seems to do this with all the louisiana commits to bama.

To make LSU hold a spot and keep their recruiting staff busy

You and others have absolutely no clue. You can be pretty sure that Orgeron and the staff know where they stand with Sopsher. They were blindsides by Surtain last year but this is different.
These guys have been recruiting for years and know the "tells" or recruits intentions and thus the probability of signing.
Regardless, it's okay to hold a spot and leave it unfilled rather than wasting a scholarship on a tweener.
Coaching staffs around the country get burned each year with late flips. It's just part of recruiting.

Do I think he is going to Bama, who really knows, All I know is bama and LSU and many other schools are recruiting him pretty damn hard...

I have no problem with this response. Seems to make sense to me.

I’m sorry to burst your Saban bubble, but he does this to every school he can to get an edge.

I think this is correct. Also he's probably just enjoying the attention/ process.
