Is going to Texas? I haven't read anything to really substantiate that idea.

quote:

Andre Christmas-Giles (DT, 6'3", 290, St. Augustine) Monday night Christmas-Giles said LSU, TCU and Texas were his leaders, in no particular order, but with each passing day it seems more likely that he will end up in Texas. The St. Augustine standout originally planned to announce his decision on Signing Day, but now is saying he might do so on Monday, which leads me to believe his mind is made up. Christmas-Giles has already taken all of his official visits. Confidence Level: 35%

That's the prevailing opinion of everyone, even LSU's 247 writers think Texas leads.

That's an interesting move by a St. aug alum then, maybe it's because of the #s but brick Haley always finishes second.

Austin radio is all about christmas giles. Talking about him all the time. I think yesterday he tweeted hook em and they all freaked out even more.

They think christmas giles will open the door to them for future New Orleans recruiting and they think they can steal one from Lsu.

Why does everyone think he is a lock? I also think some people would rather Giles than any other DT in thins class and idk why.

No one's saying he's a lock. Just that if signing day was today, the best guess would be UT.

Ed O is more focused on Sci Martin according to the latest update. He doesn't think the door is closed there.

The deal is Texas fans love rumors more than most.

Their recruiting so far has been lackluster, but rumors are Strong is closing on big recruits and will have a good nsd putting them in a top 10 recruiting class.

Im not joking that they talk everyday about christmas giles on the radio everyday for the past two weeks. Giles is probably feeling the love. They forget to mention Fowler, who lsu is pulling from UT's backyard.

The guys from orangebloods on 104.9 here in Austin went thru the entire scenario at least twice yesterday. LSU's dt #s vs Texas, the late offer, the hook em tweet... He got a ton of airtime. They're extremely confident he's going to Texas.

If we only have three to five scholarships left to give, he may be getting caught up in the numbers game.

There has been a pretty obvious shift in priority between Martin and Giles since Aranda was hired.

I saw that too and I just told a Texas fan a couple of days ago that Giles was all LSU.
