Good thing we didn't offer that 3* Kelvin Sheppard from GA. He didn't do much. Well, if you count All-SEC I guess he's okay.

Yea, the two kids from Ga. will never play. Why didn't Ga. want them?

State is weak in LBs almost every year and Chavis isn't exactly a great recruiter. Great LB coach but not a recruiter.

You could say the same about Tennessee while he was there. That state as a whole produces about as much D1 talent as John Curtis alone. They didn't have a problem getting stud LB's though

This.

Who was the better linebacker while at LSU?
Stop looking at the stars man.

True enough. Also guys who come in a defensive backs often get moved to LB by coordinators like Saban and Chavis who want more speed at the position. Of the six former Tigers who are listed as LB on NFL teams, two, Alexander and Coleman were originally db's in college. Francois is in that same category and now there are rumors that Loston may be move to LB also.

I agree with you!! i'm tired of these projects and guys that can't find the football if their life depended on it. We should be able to grab two or 3 a year from Tx if La is down on LB's(which is usually the case). Sad when in the last 10 years LSU has like 3 Lb's make all SEC. Can we ever land a true freshman stud that can start from day 1. Our Lb & OL play over the last 5 to 6 years has been the biggest weakness on the team.

Jesus! Overreact much, do ya?

This is a terrible post. We all wish LB recruiting was better. Overall, LB play the last few years has been pretty good.
