Could Perkins be used for a role of a big bruising RB along with his primary "role(s)" on defense? He averaged 12.6 yards per carry in high school with 2245 yards rushing and 34 TDs.

Yes, it looks like Thompson could become a Tiger now, not a Vol. Very good news.

I doubt that he's "soft." He seems to be a highly regarded OL and has attracted quite a bit of interest.
