With the coaches accepting commitments from guys like wooten, could there be any recruits who we have been mislead by and are not high up on ala CM JMAC Loston, or do we have enough scholly's to accept all of these guys

Let's see.... 18 commitments, only 15 spots opening up on the 85 man roster due to seniors graduating, but 22 spots is the number that keeps getting shouted out...

19. Singleton
20. Sentimore
21. Mingo
22. Randle
23. Loston
24. Rocky Duplesis (greyshirt)
25. Deangelo Benton (still trying to qualify)

With spots for Debose, Bostic, JM, TR, and possibly CM, if they so chose. I doubt we bat 1.00. I also doubt that we bat 0.00 so...

26. one of the above

So, no, we do not have enough spots.

I'm pretty sure we're going to sign 25 in this class. This is my prediction:

1. Singleton
2. Loston
3. Michael
4. Randle
5. Sentimore
6. Mingo

I think a couple players will greyshirt and we might get 1 or 2 surprise commits like Mcfarland on there. Duplessis/Benton is pending if they ever qualify. I think CM will be one of the surprise commits IMO, he'll eventually get a offer if he doesn't already. I also think someone will waiver their commitment, opening another spot up. I honestly think Garrett is going to switch to MSU, he has a lot of pressure over there, especially who his dad is. Which honestly, wouldn't be that bad because it would help with Broadway next year, who seems to have a lot of connections to Bama, which might be Saban's first "steal" from LSU's own backyard in BR.

i think we still have a chance at debose, but he commits to florida in the end, and eventually, mcfarland convinces mommy about LSU, and singleton too.

15 spots opening yes! But don't sweat it,the coaching staff knows what they are doing. Plus we lost schollies available from perriloux, Jarvis jones, Matt Allen, jordan corbin, JD lott, and Jason Teague. Plus we didn't sign a full class last year. Plus expect some more players to mess up before the end of the year.

People need to realize that the coaches know what they are doing. Everyone, including both Scout and Rivals, didn't think Wooten had an offer, but he actually was a silent committ since the July camp. I'm willing to bet that the coaches probably have a few more silent commits already and are going to have a few more surprises. They will make the numbers work.

Even the best recruiting analysts for the RANT have a scope that is much narrower than the scope that Les uses to rank potential recruits.

We are all "wanna be's" dabbling in recruiting as if are experts. The coaches are experts and understand the needs of the Tiger Team better than we understand those needs.

LSU needs a 'big time' fullback and a punter. Les will try and get the best available at each position. If a five star stud gets caught-up in the numbers because of 'need position' recruiting and the Tigers miss out on that stud----we probably have a star starting and two waiting in the ranks.

We RANTERs would be well advised to be less critical and do a better job of welcoming the commits and making those recruits feel like members of the Tiger Family.

The fans should be extremely pleased with this year's class. This class should be met with enthusiasm, not criticism.

Yes some stud may get left out----but the ones that make the cut should make all Tiger fans smile.

If LSU got every 5 star on the board.
Went 12-0
Won another NC.
There would still be people here bitching about either the Team, Players, Coaches, Scheduling, Playing Time, Weather, Cheerleaders Uni's, Standing Fans, Fat people, Stadium Food, Students, Parking, Some Old Lady Selling Fake Passes, Personal Hygiene, Can't Get Laid, USC, Bama, Other Schools, etc...
I have more but i need to get ready soon for church then a road trip.

You may end up being right about garrett but I don't see how you can think that way right now. The last news to come out about him has all been saying that he is VERY SOLID to LSU. Now like I said, you may be right in the end but right now I wouldn't be counting on him to switch. Plus MSU has picked up two very capable qbs since Garrett's decommit from MSU and subsequent commit to LSU.
