Districts were probably redone when Richwood opened back up, and when Sterlington was built further down 165. It's part of the reason why Neville's student population went down.

why would sterlington being built have anything to do with redistricting neville?

It went down? I've always been told that Neville had a 3A enrollment and that's why they dropped down prior to the forced rule. Since they have been in 4A the entire time that rule has been in effect, how did their numbers go down?

neville dropped from 5 to 4 long before the thought of forced rule. neville enrollment is midway in 4a

Sterlington being further south may have drawn kids away from the neville zone? Just a thought, but im pretty sure Richwood had an impact.

Either way, Diarse will shine at Neville, for three more years....he may end up playing QB. Besides, i doubt he wants to listen to cowbells at every game for the next three years

there you go we are all in agreement...but the king oaks subdivision and part of south grand was taken out of nevilles and lee's zone a few yrs ago, which was a good thing..king oaks was in nevilles zone since 70's when we had that carroll busing thing
