With 16 down, 9 (10 if we go Saban on them) to go. We have a realistic shot with all of these (if not a lock already with some). If you are Les Miles who do you put the most work in from these 13? Who are the easiest to let go?

IN STATE
Melvin Jones LB
Kendall Beckwith LB
Tim Williams DE
Desean Smith TE
Ricky Jefferson ATH

OUT OF STATE
Ricky Seals Jones WR (as of 6/5/12)
Robert Nkemdiche DE
Torrodney Prevot DE
Greg Gilmore DT
Scott Pagano DT
Preist Willis DB
Tahaan Goodman DB
Rashard Robinson DB

Most work - Gilmore
Close second - Williams

Think we are fighting an uphill battle on Nkemdiche.... Smith is ours, Melvin jones is ours as well

That's 9, out of the listed, if I had to choose-by order of who would make me the most excited by committing.
If RN is going elsewhere-slide in, Justin Manning DT, before Smith.

Guy I want the most-Priest Willis
Biggest need guy-Nkemdiche if he's becomes a DT
Easiest to let go-Beckwith as a LB/RSJ because I never expected him/Nkemdiche because I don't feel we really have a shot

My 9 in order of want
Willis
Nkemdiche
RSJ
Williams
Gilmore
Smith
Prevot
Jones
Pagano

I'd be thrilled with any of them.

I don't think we will even push for Beckwith, unless we strike out on other DE prospects. Not a lb in our system.

You don't need melvin jones when beckwith is on the board. we loaded up last year-- only need to take 1 LB. Could possibly move to DLine

If we are looking at one more lb, we need jones. Beckwith probably won't be at LSU. Think Bama, jack!

Why Jones over Beckwith when Beckwith is a better player?!
Seriously why.

Jones is a much better LB. I like Jones better completely but most don't. The LB thing makes Jones the better take. Beckwith as a DE would be much, much closer. If the staff had to make a choice, I think they'd choose Beckwith.

Beckwith is a good DE, and if they strike out on some of the better targets, then they may push. Will come down to numbers. Beckwith ain't the best lb or DE on our board. I could see him left out, as good as he is.

Hell, take out my Goodman and RN, and add Pagano & Robinson, we got a similar list.

I'd be happy as hell if we got 9 of those.

One of my personal favorites in this class is Prevot.

I think Goodman just wants to see a big SEC game in death valley, I dont think hes serious about leaving the west coast. And also, Rickey Jefferson is a much bigger deal to the coaches than he is to me, so you can take out Willis and put him in at DB most likely. And I just dont think Nkemdiche is serious about going anywhere but Bama. Hes been getting brainwashed for 2 years now about that place. And I think were gonna get Prevot my friend

Although, on the Jefferson/Willis deal, if Willis comes to the July camp and shows he is serious about LSU, I could see it getting real with him.

I also think we take a center somewhere along the line. If Jennings doesnt commit within the next two weeks I think we could be done at QB, unless Kincaid shows out at July camp
