It's very close with Johnson and Guice, but I'm giving the edge to this guy

I'm still going with Tyron Johnson but only by a hair over Guice. WRs have far fewer opportunities to get the ball than a RB and Tyron is electric when he gets it. Not that Guice isn't though, it's basically a tie in my book

That highlight video of Tyron Johnson is retarded. The guy just makes kids miss left and right. I think Brossette gets overlooked because he's already committed, but he is very physical runner who just runs straight through arm tackles. Guice doesn't go down easy and he usually makes the first guy pay for trying. IMO I think it's Guice, Johnson, and then Brossette, but I think all three deserve to be 5 star players. Hell, Guice and Brossette may be the two best running backs in this entire class!

The real leader of the class gets shafted. Did the powers that be notice that Nick made the coach's association All-State team and Derrius didn't? I guess the coaches are wrong too. Well, if video production is the basis for the ranking system my vote for #1 is Tyron Johnson that kid's footwork is unreal, he helped his team go deep into the playoffs and he produced on the field as well

U mad. So did you have an issue with Malachi Dupre being ranked so high his year? I'm going to guess the answer is no

Guice was on the LSWA class 5A all state team....

And you do realize that there are a lot of guys that get all state, and dont even play college football.

And nobody in here is discounting Brossette at all. Kids a beast and a big time player.Nobody is saying hes not good. Top 5 player in the state, no doubt.

I just think, along with other posters, that Guice is just a little better and has that extra gear. Hes the complete package.

but you do make an interesting point. You have to agree that Malachi went out on the camping circuit and proved himself against the best defenders in the nation, right? That being the case i dont think that MD and DG comparisons are fair.

Whoever ranked these guys had a tough job to do. Either one could hold the #1 title. I did notice that TJ was #1; NB was #2; and DG was #3 composite.

I tell you what its going to be fun watching what these three do this season for sure.

Which proves my point. Stats don't go very far in rankings. I was making a comparison between the players.

There all really good prospects.... but I wouldnt say they are all elite.

The only 2 prospects that are elite, IMO, are Guice and Johnson.

Those 2 guys have the best chance to be the top ranked player at their position and be 5 *s
