Who is the better QB prospect?

James Foster or Gerry Bohanon?

Throwing in my wildcard to get an offer Jack Samsel QB from Spanish Fort AL. Seems like a very underrated qb who would fit very well in Canada's system. Visited recently and loves LSU. Don't be shocked if an offer goes his way HUDL

I think Foster is better

IMO
Foster has really good field vision and makes better progressions. Also his intermediate looks a little better. He throws first and runs if he needs to.
Bohanon has a very nice deep ball and is much more electric with his feet.
My big question mark is the competition level for both of these guys. Just off film it appears as though foster may be facing slightly better competition. Anyone have any info on either's competition.

quote:It's difficult to say, but based on the film I've watched, it appears to me that GB has better footwork and fundamentals. He certainly appears to have a quicker release. Foster appears to have a stronger arm but is very raw. I'd personally pick GB over JF but wouldn't be disappointed with either.

Cornelious Brown IV- Quad

Coach isn’t quad 2019. Both these guys are 2018.

Yes. That was an attempt at jest.
But
He is a better all around prospect. Would love to see us get one of these guys for 18 and Quad in 19. We would be in the way to righting the ship in Qb talent

Foster is the leaner better passer where I think Bohanon could be that Dak or Newton type bruising runner.
Overall Id go with Foster. Foster plays a lot better competition than Bohanon.

Idk. Just give me the one that looks to throw the ball first and running is an option, only when he goes through his progression and nobody is open. We need a true pocket passer. That's the only way we are going to win anything of significance. Unless there's a dual threat like cam newton, Jameis winston, deshaun watson, or russell wilson. The problem with that is those are very rare dual threat qbs that absolutely have the arm strength that look to settle in the pocket and pass the ball first, but are a legit threat to run the ball when nobody is open or plays break down. Give me a Frickin true quarterback, not this shite that les miles and cam cameron have left us stuck with for the past several years. Damn, LSU hasn't had a true quarterback that defenses respect throwing the ball since mettenberger. I'm excited to see brennan next year, he looks to be just the type of qb we need. Geaux Tigers.

Foster plays in Alabama's 6A classification. 7A is the highest in Alabama but the level of competition is pretty much the same between 6 & 7A. Foster's team is currently in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Swift Lyle of St Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile is really the kid I think LSU should be recruiting.
Great QB whose skill set is off the charts imo.
Also excellent basketball and baseball player.

SF is putting a beatdown on Lanier
Sf 48 Lanier 18... Jack Samsel with 5 TD's
