Who in your estimation was the best running back to come out

of Louisiana? The best I had to play against was Eddie Fuller and Buford Jordan's little brother who was paralyzed in a car accident, I think his name was Issiac. Best I ever saw was Cecil Collins.

I played against both Cecil Collins and Anthony Thomas........that definitely sucked!!!

Thomas was a beast and certainly wouldn't be considered the best ever, but he sure was a load to tackle.

Cecil was simply inhuman, though. Superior quickness, unparalleled speed, strong enough to make you pay if he decided to go over you instead of around. He was awesome.

Don't guess he was that highly recruited seeing as though he ended up at SD State. But that was long before I got into recruiting...doubt they even had recruiting services back then

Faulk was only offered as a DB by everyone but San Diego State.

Cecil was the most talented I saw. Jimmy Johnson was in love with him until he reverted to his thuggery.
