Who cares about DL from Amite??

We got Parker, the monster DL from Utah, the best CB, RB and OG in the country. We also covered last years depleted OL with quality and quantity. On top of it all, Starks from Ehret, QB Parrish that beat Tua’s brother and a couple of great WR. Nothing to complain about with the plan or the outcome. And for what it’s worth, LA is always having kids go all over the country. I’ll take 80% of the top 10 any day.

Once the Little kid out of Mobile blows up and gains 50 lbs he will be another Jason Pierre Paul.
We got extremely fortunate striking out on Sopsher and landing this kid.
After seeing his athleticism on film he is worth the scholarship.
And, if anyone thought for a moment Sopsher was playing a down next season they were wrong.
Next season we have a loaded DL class in state with 2 already locked up with Jackson and Roy.
With Guillory, McKinley, Wright, Lee, or Caldwell, we will be stacked once again.
Bow, if we strike out bad next year with that many players in state and also players out of state highly interested then we need to check out speedometer to see if we even moving.

Coach O and staff put together a great 2019 class, hell, we're #3 according to Rivals!!! Of course, there's always going to be haters because it's not Coach Jimbo, Hermann, Kiffin, etc, because, well, they would have gotten Ish?? If he didn't want to come to LSU, wish him well and let's move on to 2020 where there are a lot of DL fish in the sea!!

Yes, I’m glad we didn’t sign the best DL in the state who would’ve added instant depth.
You would’ve jizzed your pants and shouted from the mountain tops had Ish signed with LSU.

Not to mention most thought Sopsher was going to Alabama anyway, so it shouldn't have come to any surprise. The fact that we're seeing this much melt goes to show how much people got their hopes up despite the general consensus. I'll admit that I've thought for a long time that he was coming to LSU, but I'm in now way distraught over his groupie status.

I saw Sopsher as lazy! I watched the game and Lee was all over the place and a better athlete. Sopsher may turn out ot be all world but dropped from 5 to 4 stars if you follow that. Plus, he wanted his brother to tag along. Scholarships are too valuable to waste. I don't know if Bama signed his bro or not. Some said his grades were bad and may be a 2020 signee if that

I wish we had gotten Ish too, but I was thinking, wasn't Chasen Hines a 4 star DL in HS? He switched to OL because of the lack of depth. I think, especially if Ingram comes back, Hines goes back to defense and may just be as good as Sopsher. Just a thought.

We don't haven't anything locked up for next year. Sorry to bust a bubble. They have a whole year left. And once again it will come down to us and bama for Jackson
