RECRUITING WASHINGTON PARISH: BOGALUSA AREA PROSPECTS TO BE TARGETED

There is some very talented guys up there in Bogalusa, and we are involved in that area, and we're gonna give some of those men the opportunity to come to school in Louisiana and be a part of a great experience, going to school and playing football for the Tigers in Tiger Stadium.

Ricardo was a beast at safety in 91, but can't recall anyone since then.

I would guess Washington Parish was meant by "area". Very good talent out of Franklinton for a while now.

Kenderick Allen was a stud out of Bogalusa in 98. He played a lot for LSU.

I forgot about him. It's funny how we remember stuff farther back in time as we age.

Erin Damond (DB) around that same time frame as well. If I recall, he transferred after getting burnt on a few deep routes.

Lol that's still a rivalry...

Sure the paper mill made it stank but I loved the setting of the Bogalusa stadium when we went there in district

saban kicked him off the team, he started a few games at cb. him and kendrick allen played at the same time at bogalusa. made it to the semi-finals in 98 i think.

i remember ricardo washington. hallman turned him into a lber.

bogalusa, as far i know, hasn't had much of a team in awhile. guess everyone moved outta town, can't blame em.

place is a fricking dump. good example of what happens when democrats and labor unions get ahold of a place.

if your kids have to go to public school in wp, pine is the only decent choice.

really just pine or bowling green, everything else sucks.

they still have a bus that takes kids from annunciation to sp/sa? that would be the best choice.

seems a lot of that dried up after the mill downsized.

gerald watterson and zaid (spelling?) houston played at usm.

lotsa guys have played at smaller fcs/d2 schools.

ronald fields played at state and for sf.

in the last 25 years, only a 3 guys at lsu and 2 in the nfl (fields and allen)
