King took Cam to LSU just as much as he did Bama. The "pushing him to Bama" shite is just that...shite.

Why would a Louisiana guy that went to LSU bring Cam to Alabama just as much as LSU?

Is this the King that's a volunteer assistant coach at West Ridge? My sons on the 6th grade team and he looks familiar.

Just throwing this out there, Rob Sale was on Sabans staff for several years and I am sure helped recruit North La for them! (Of course he was doing his job) but just wondering if maybe that was Sabans in with North La? No idea if that's the case and I could be way off base

Shawn King and James Jacquet kicked Shaq's tail. Got kicked out as a result. I played JUCO ball with Jacquet, that's what he told me about the situation.

BTW......what do you consider to be a "handler"?

A handler could be anyone involved in the process that has more of an interest in their own personal gain or vendetta, rather than the "best interest" of the player. Could be anyone from Kellen Winslow Sr. & his somewhat anti-honky stance he took during Kellen Jr's recruitment, to Willie Lyles, to these 2 douches, to the Auburn turd in Thibodaux, or Milton Kirk/Lynn Lang/Logan Young. What I mean by "handlers" and not involved/concerned parents or family.

That's cool. But I hate the way "handler" gets tossed around when someone is simply helping a kid out. That could be helping a kid get to a college campus, a camp or getting in touch with a college coach. I think people use the term too much.

With the perks that come with visits, "enjoying the process" is probably worth it to guys in this situation. Steering a kid all the way through to signing guarantees you three to four years of home games & being a tailgate king in Tuscaloosa. Bringing a kid to the Bama program is probably like being Warren Morris in Louisiana. Free beers, chicks and barbeque any time you make it to campus. It's at least worth a chair and a koozie with your name on them for three to four years. You know the guy that ensured Terrance Cody is still reaping benefits when he makes a game.

Well worth the wear & tear on a vehicle and a few tanks of gas.
