Not even my favorite recruit in this class. That would be Willis.

His presence elevates a team from conference championship contender to national championship contender. That's my opinion.

Can we get rid of threads that beg for either a highly touted recruit to be talked down or for other highly touted recruits in teh same class to feel unappreciated by comparison?

LSU badly wants LF. That's all that matters.

This thread will offer no new information and offers the potential for someone to get their jimmies rustled.

LSU intentionally went a year without signing any RBs. I'd say he's pretty friggin important.

And with good reason. This years team broke so many offensive records for LSU, still lost three games. We need to get back to playing the kind of defense this university is known for, and Willis goes a long way in towards getting us back there.

the mojo that comes with him in the recruiting world is as big as what he will do on the field. Everything will be looking up for this program if we land him

Yea anyone who has LF at #1 has to be referring to the "modern era" of LSU football as post-Dinardo.

If not, Faulk is #1 and "it ain't even close" (and I hate that saying).

I would say the biggest of all time. We haven't signed a RB since 2011 so we put all our chips in the bag for Fournette because he's that good! That's why I think he's a must get and the biggest recruit of all time.

I would definitely say at the very least it's the most important recruit in the Les Miles era, this is a guy you build an offense around.

LF is the biggest/most important since Faulk is what I meant, just to be clear.

Most cases I would agree, but anyone that would talk down LF is a moron. And those other recruits know that LF is a bad mofo, no shame in recognizing that.
