Where are we at on Matthews?

Perkins doesnt seem as attainable, and keeping the number one LA recruit away from rival schools is huge. How are we on him?

Florida fans think they have Perkins and Mathews but insiders on our side simply think that that is not the case at all.

We’re in a good spot, definitely the front runner according to Shea. We also picked up a lot of steam with Citizen this past weekend. If we can land Matthews, Citizen and Perkins this staff is freaking deadly.

Matthews is more likely than Perkins.
LSU was not late to the party on Matthews. Kelly prioritizes Louisiana recruits first.
It would be hard to say Matthews would leave the state.

Absolutely no reason LSU, who changed coaches just like Florida, should allow a Louisiana and Houston kid to go to Billy Napier.

I think he meant moderators on the paysites, who are really cautious about saying things like that. They've recently predicted Matthews to LSU with decent confidence.
"insiders" are usually posters, not moderators.
