there are many school districts that can't afford to produce film on their best prospects. There are plenty of cases in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, and even Florida and Georgia, where kids fall through the cracks because of this. At least from an Alabama prospective, some of the best prospects are those that are "found" at camps in summer on campus.

Kids at a lot of the smaller schools will get overlooked like you say. This happens in small states and even in Florida. Florida's situation might be because of the amount of kids and it seems like they let them move around more than other states.

I think the difference Yammama is talking about is fewer "recruiting site guys" have been covering Louisiana since Katrina than before.

I don't think anybody knew where some kids landed for a couple of years. Some of them are just now shaking out and being at the same school as the year before.

Some of these kids didn't play for a year or two also. Some left the state and are back and so on.

Low sub areas get less resources devoted to them by the recruiting services. That is a fact.

Yes, they will have players slip through the cracks in every state. It happens to Louisiana more though because they don't get all the recruiting sites scouts scouring the area. In Florida, it is such a high sub area, they have tons of resources devoted to just that state.

Rivals doesn't have anyone busting arse for Louisiana. Say what you want about Clean but he's doing all he can to put LA kids on the map.

Most likely top 10 in no particular order: FSU - Jimbo has been on a rampage and is poised to win the ACC Texas - owns state of TX UF - best program in FL Bama - almost guaranteed Auburn - off of a NC season OU - if not TX then OU and also in play for Kiel/DGB tOSU - probably no sanctions yet Miami - Dade County + better head coach USC - owns SoCal On the edge: LSU - owns LA but limited schollies Clemson - Dabo recuits like a stud even with bad seasons USCe - Most likely another trip to the SECCG

tOSU will not be in the top ten and most likley will struggle to stay in the 15-25 range.
Michigan will be in the top 5.
USC will not be in the top ten they have like 10 scholarships plus 30 recruits from last year to deal with. They have a 75 player cap.

Lulz they will not. They don't have much room to improve with 18 commits already. No way they beat out Texas, Bama, Auburn, FSU, and Florida
