Wouldn’t surprise me. He wants to be a dual sport athlete with football and basketball. Makes sense why he wouldn’t want to play basketball here.

That’s true. Our current trajectory isn’t great though, whereas their football program is on the upswing.

The draw to Syracuse is that they have a sofla guy on staff who is close to Russell - he’s the primary recruiter

They won 10 games last year while their QB led the country in pass attempts, pass completions, and passing yards. They had 3 pass catchers with over 900 receiving yards. Their head coach is also young and a good recruiter.
It's weird to see a 5 star considering them, but on paper, it makes sense for a WR.

Russell is a moron if he wastes his career up there. Unless they're just way overpaying, and I'm not sure a small private school with a puny fan base will be coughing up more cash than the big boys.
