I hate to say this but offer his friend. From what most say on this board his film looks good and he is a 3 star. Perry Riley and Kelvin Sheppard were a package deal and they were both 3 stars on rivals if I remember correctly. They both turned out to be exceptional. Bottom line.....We need linebackers desperately!!!

Perry Riley and Shepard are both still playing in the NFL, five and six years later after they left.

If the LSU staff feels Divinity's buddy is SEC caliber, fine, otherwise best of luck to Divinity in collegiate career.

Idk, there are many universities out there beside LSU.

But we can only hope he ends up in P&G

His buddy is SEC caliber. Lot of teams overlooked Shepherd and Riley also. I don't even think Georgia recruited them yet they are both in the NFL. The only thing that I can think of that would be keeping the big name schools away is his lack of ideal height.

Yep, and I am concerned about how we finish, doesn't appear we are going to get any real booms, so I think he is worth a shot...

Why would we not offer him? He isn't a terrible player and could add some much needed depth to the roster. Besides, we took LFs brother to get him. It's not unheard of.

Sounds like a good package deal, two guys that already play well together and would have chemistry from day one if they both carry that over to the college game

Lanard Fournette came a year after Leonard. Lanard is also a good player. If this guy can play, then why not?

Because any coach will tell you that it's not who you miss on, it's who you end up with.

Isn't who you end up with partially related to who you miss on?

We need LBs. taking a 3 star newnorleans kid at a position of need to land another kid at a position of need is a no brainier. We act like we have never taken a kid that didn't work out.

From people who have seen Harris play say he is good, I'm not in the know most people think this kid is a take, so what's the issue

It's the dead period. If folks are expecting much to happen over the next 3 1/2 weeks, they will be very disappointed.
