you're missing my point. the college experience in a city >>> college experience in the middle of nowhere.
for some

if you look at their "top college town" list the top ten includes NYC, san fran, dc, and austin.
and Baton Rouge is an absolute shithole compared to these places although I've never been to DC.

no, you can only have the college experience if its in a small town per bucktown

those rankings are based on student surveys; they don't just randomly choose what they think are the best places to go to college
Those ranking are a joke ever since Florida was number 1 party school. Anyone who has been on a road trip there and had to deal with the bars, metros that frequent the bars, drink prices, cops, & tailgating rules know thats not the case.

You think Tulane has the same college atmosphere as an Ole Miss or an Auburn? shite, USC doesnt have the college type feel as those two schools.
looks like you're defining "college experience" in terms of rural areas

Exactly, if recruits were basing their decision on how wonderful a city is, everytime a recruit have the option of playing at Texas or LSU, they would pick Texas every single time.

I don't really need any stats to tell met that I have a better chance of getting murdered in a big city than I do in a small rural area.
But those stats could come in very handy indeed for recruits who fear being murdered and are planning to choose a school based in a decent sized city.

Thats when we were talking about the attractiveness of girls. My last post was about how the school still does so well with enrollment numbers, leading to big fan support...because they are close to ATL who send a lot of people to the school. You are twisting my arguments here.

Many see 60 miles from NO as > Austin.

That argument makes you look like a 12 year old. Obviously thats not the case & I would never claim that. I just think its retarted to bash these small town colleges when they have better atmospheres for the most part than big city schools. Once again, great argument comparing Nicholls to an Ole Miss or an Auburn.
