He is down to LSU/Ole Miss and MSU. LSU is close to his home and is a perenial powerhouse, a virtual consensus #1 in 2011. Beyond 2011 we are loaded for a multi-year BCSNC run. Ole Miss and MSU may crack the Top 25 every now and then and are otherwise rarely even on TV. Our glaring need is at linebacker where CJ will most likely start for the national championship team in 2011 with a huge audience for the Kick-off classic against Oregon equaling instant fame for him. I really don't get a 5 star athlete wanting to waste away in obscurity?????

Well if that is your rationality then Kevin Faulk would have never come to LSU.

LSU is a concensus #1 next season now that one publication has us #1 in January? Sometimes this board gets a little hard to read.

In 2011 does this even matter anymore? At least when comparing SEC teams it doesn't. How many games does Ole Miss and MSU play that aren't on TV?

There is no way he would assume he would get playing time faster at LSU. It's not like we're going to lineup with no linebackers on the field.
