I really hope that Williams and Sione don't feel slighted by the staff cause we're gonna need one of them.

I think that Sione gets an offer after he camps. He's good, but he isn't good enough to be offended that he didn't get an offer this spring.

I am a Mormon and served a two year mission. It is a bit more complicated, but saying a Mormon needs a good excuse not to serve a mission is a bit like saying a Catholic needs a good excuse not to go to mass. Yes, you are supposed to but nobody is going to force you obviously. Some elite athletes do, others do not, even devout LDS. Any coaching staff should just ask him what his plans are. He would likely serve before he enrolled (if that is in fact his plan).

Something like 50pct of Tongans and 25pct of Samoans are LDS.

On another subject, what is the LSU story with Kevin Shorter?

Kevin visited in the spring, attempted to commit, but les didn't accept it, wanted him to come camp first, he was a little offended, looked around, and now isn't coming to LSU

And don't forget about Nick Brossette from U-High in 2014. He may be a 5 star also. Can you imagine a 1-2 punch of Fournette and Brossette?

No Mission for Palelei. Not impressive? Ok. You believe your guy, I'll go by my guy, ME, who's Coached kids not only LSU good, but NFL good. He is as impressive as those kids, if not more.

Do you know of any better highlight videos of his other than the one in the Sione thread? Going off some of your posts, he could be Dalvin Cook/Joseph Yearby like. I've been dying to see a running back like that play on the field at LSU for the longest ala Trindon Holliday but with wiggle. I'd really like to see Brazil (and hopefully Noil) get some playing time in the backfield.

with the slots we have left, and the guys left on the board, it's conceivable that we only take Fournette this year….

Noil could get touches at RB, and Upchurch, if he's still a part of the class, could be moved around, at either RB or TE… i think for him to keep his spot, he's gonna have to be flexible with where they put him on the field, rather than being set in stone wanting to play WR…

and don't forget...

we have Brossette and Guice next year, so really we could really on need Fournette this year, due to too many studs at other positions that want in...

I'll see if there are some on Hudl. There are his Freshman and Sophomore videos on You Tube, as well.
I know it's early, but on the official roster, Brazil is listed as a DB.

Racean Thomas will likely wind up at Auburn, Shorter will end up at Arkansas… Williams, while he's a big back and probably capable, will be a numbers casualty… good player, but not enough spots, considering everyone else that's left out there that may commit to LSU...

Guys, we need multiple rb's in this class. After this year, blue will be gone, hill will likely be gone, and Hilliard could possibly go. That leaves fournette all by himself next year

Thanks. Since we have no shot at Racean, Palelei was my next favorite prospect. If we don't get him I'd look forward to Guice, Brossette, and Ducre for 2015.

IMHO we need to not be so sure of LF. Don't sleep on SCw. Kiffin and Orgeron are tremendous recruiters and you've got the lights and glamour if LA. Not to mention all the Heisman Trophies sitting there won by Tailbacks.
Not trying to flame, I just get nervous when we all count our chickens before they hatch.

based on potential I'd go Sione but Williams seems like a backup plan only option. I'd rather we play Upchurch at RB where he could also do double duty as a WR if we desperately need one for back up. I mean we are solid with those 3 RBs in 15' class.

Also I'm hoping this Brazil at DB thing is only a temporary thing til we get to fall practice. His speed is wasted on defense(#4 fastest college football player based on official track records). We already have speedsters Tre and Rashard and will hopefully have the burner Tony this year. We need somebody to replace that speed option at tailback and it should be Brazil.
