LSU fans are funny:
Louisiana player chooses somewhere other than LSU: "Show some state pride" & "Good luck coming back home after college"
Out of state player chooses their home state team and we rag on the decision. It's just silly.
I think Lorenzo and The Carters handled the recruiting process well and I wish him luck.

LSU isn't the only group to do this. It's just magnified because a.) LSU is the only "big football" school in Louisiana, and b.) the in-state talent this year was incredible.
People in Texas do the same thing when their studs leave for LSU, Oklahoma, etc.

Has he actually picked UGA? Or is it still speculation. I know I know. Nothing is final until he signs the LOI but where is the proof he has picked UGA?

Purple and gold glasses...some people will find a way to be slighted every time a recruit decides against LSU.
QB - Why doesn't this guy want to play for Cam Cameron? The guy's been in the NFL and he knows what it takes.
RB - Our RBs get tons of carries, why wouldn't he want to come here?
WR - OBJ and Landry both got 1000 yards and were often targeted, why wouldn't a WR sign here?
OL - Who wouldn't want to block for LF?
DL - Look at our history of people we put in the league? Who wouldn't want to play here
LB - _____ can come here and unseat Welter? Why wouldn't he want early playing time.
DB - We're DBU! Why wouldn't he want to come here.
And on and on and on...

Carter's Mother's press statement is not a "leak"!! They are trying for transparency by notifying any schools he may have ruled out. That is integrity, character, and being considerate.
His decision is not made.
But UGA, thinking it was a done deal reported on this board that LSU was in the top two.
UF and FSU had reportedly been notified he had chosen UGA.
“He just wants to take his time and look over the different options that he has. Who does he feel most comfortable with? He wants to go ahead and narrow it down. If there’s a particular school he wants to eliminate, he wants to go ahead and make contact with those coaches so they can have the opportunity to extend an opportunity to someone else, rather than waiting. He has got a lot to work on with his decision.”
The family is in seclusion while Lorenzo deliberates on his top schools. "They will review his college options over the next 24 hours before Lorenzo steps in front of a national TV audience to reveal the winner."
