what if we end up with Alford?

would that make the pain easier? tough call for me, i was really excited about a true drop back passer.
What about us going after Matt Davis from Houston? hes committed to A&M.
hoping Alford stays with his visit on the 27th, would help a bit

Alford is 100% committed to Southern Miss

If Gunner doesn't come, he pretty much fricked up our QB recruiting because we had Alford and Liggins locked up.

Alford was the best football player I saw all year, but given the uncertainty about his future position, as well as MLB, I'd rather Kiel.

When Kiel commited did you expect us to recruit other qbs? Come on with the Miles bashing. Some of you people are just bashing whenever you think it seems fit. In this case it doesn't. He has been recruiting Liggins since Kiel commited.

Nope. Alford was at one time a possible lean but despite the level of interest, once his HS coach was hired at USM, it was over. Rumor has it that he has been living with his HS coach for several months. He certainly had some interest before this happened but you never put all your eggs in once basket with a player that is projected to be drafted as high as he is in the MLB draft. Odds are very good that he will be playing MLB next year.
Liggins has never been that interested in LSU from what I gather. His official is this weekend and that might change but lets not forget, this kid lives in Oxford. He has been Ole Miss' to lose from day one. Ms State is making a hard push for him but I doubt LSU gets a serious look. And at the end of the day, thats not a bad thing. This kid is 275lbs. He needs some serious work before he becomes a college QB

Where did your info on Liggins come from? It's way off base concerning LSU. This kid has been rumored as a LSU silent for part of the year and we lead for most of the cycle. We have never pushed him to commit at any point. You can bet that will change this weekend.
