What happened with us getting Shea Patterson?

He was a Louisiana guy right? We don't get alot of elite quarterbacks out of the state and he seemingly completely shunned us. What's his story regarding LSU?

Patterson attended Hidalgo High School in Hidalgo, Texas as a freshman in 2012. In December of that year, he committed to the University of Arizona to play college football. After his freshman year, his family moved to Shreveport, Louisiana after his father moved the family for a new job. In Shreveport, he attended Calvary Baptist Academy, where he was a standout on the football team. Patterson threw for 2,655 yards with 34 touchdowns as a sophomore and 2,428 passing yards, 38 touchdowns as a junior. In July 2014, he decomitted from Arizona. In February 2015, he committed to the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). Prior to his senior year in 2015, Patterson transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Okay well that clarifies it some. He's not from Louisiana then. Can't believe that playing and living in the state didn't influence him with LSU.. Seems like north Louisiana has a problem with LSU more and more each year. Sucks but there has to be a reason for it all.

LSU seems to be doing fairly well in N Louisiana of late.
Shea was never a Louisiana kid. He was obviously committing to whoever hired his brother. His first committ was to Arizona because his brother was there.. then we hired his brother.. and then Ole Miss hired his brother and he committed to Ole Miss.

Look guys just because I don't follow recruiting like a damn religion, and know what's been posted on every thread the past 3 years doesn't mean I should be treated like piece of you know what... It's just a question! Answer the question, treat people with respect, and anchor the post if it's old news. I never understood why people downvote virtually every post and call people out on message boards for questions. It's the whole purpose of this place!
