Since Bourque's father is apparently playing such a large role in his son's decision process, maybe he should explain the concept to him about burning bridges

The statements Bourque make don't make sense. What is Les suppose to do? Teach him the slope intercept formula. He's a football coach with jewelry. If Sherman had jewelry, he'd be flossing it as well. In the end, I hope we get Bourque, but won't sweat it if he goes to Ags. I think he thinks he's better than he is and qualifies as this year's in state recruit that acts entitled and disrespectful...

isn't the whole point of joining big schools like LSU is to win championships and make it to the NFL?

Perhaps he has been sold that he can win championships and get to the NFL from A&M?

Most Davantes go pro in something other than sports.

I'm stating LSU because this regards Les Miles in these statements. What do you want a football coach to do when he is recruiting you? Places like LSU and A&M are to help players win championships and make it to the NFL.

I know that but as a player entering a big name school on scholarship isn't that your expectation to one day play in the pros?

probably since he seems to be struggling to even qualify he wants to know which college is going to hold his hand through his schoolwork the most

A&M hasn't won championships but that's their main goal. They are trying very hard to be an elite university in football. That's why they have top notch funding, facilities, and fanbase. They have the resources to be an elite school.

What kind of championships are we talking here? You're Years from being anything more than an SEC whooping boy.

Well we aren't in the SEC yet and we have a legit chance to win the Big XII this year. If money lines were set today we would be favored in every game on our schedule except at Oklahoma.

Don't think that because A&M has had a down 10 years that we aren't a football school. People under 30 don't realize that it seems. Fran set us back but Sherman has us on the precipice of great football again

ETA: Memphis and GeauxAggie are the two biggest aggie haters on this board. I can litterally write their posts before they do anytime a thread mentions A&M

If it's anything other than what this Gyro is about to taste like then you would be wrong.

Exactly. Bourque is pissed because LSU isn't as supportive as A&M through his issues. The way I understand it is Frank Wilson and Les basically told him to get his act together in Jan, such as not get arrested, suspended, do your homework, etc; if he wanted to be at LSU. A&M comes up in Feb, offers, and his grudge towards LSU begins. Good Luck qualifying.

No. He's a typical elite recruit that wants to be pampered. The problem is most of those guys that are pampered are at least in the top 100 in the rankings.
