Yeah man. I apologize for wanting quality players at LSU and being frustrated when we are losing some of the few quality players in our class in positions of need only for those players to be replaced by average portal guys. You know, what's been happening recently (Chestnut, Alexander, Sam, etc.)
It is okay to be worried about having the 14th ranked class this late into the process and also being concerned that some of these high potential guys are going to be replaced by low ceiling guys from the portal.

Looking at their offer lists, I don’t think that’s a homer view at all. There are lots of good players out there who for whatever reason may not be rated where they should. The coaches have to find them and I trust BK to do that bc he’s been good at it for a long time

As long as this CB class isn't a bunch of whiffs, I think we will be ok in the future. I think between Stamps, Welch, Hughes, and Toviano (most likely a saftey and/or Nickle) plus the new guys, we can put together a good secondary going forward.
Not to mention probably getting JK Johnson and Zy Alexander back next year.

I agree. As long as BK is here he will address things competently
I know that so many on this site like to catastrophize and I’ll let them have at that but I don’t think there’s a lot of evidence to support their lack of faith in the head coach

If you are relying on a true fr cb to come in and be that impact player on the defense in the SEC than it's gonna be more of the same next year on defense
what needs to happen is guys like Yaites, Toviano and Stamps make that progression and develop into SEC caliber players
that's where the defense is going to get better and the recruits you bring in add depth and wait for their turn

Garner and Bernard-Converse were good imo
Harris and Chestnut would have been better than what other CBs LSU has put out, Johnson is Daniel Simpson Day(all classes incomplete)
This CB problem is all on Kelly because he knew what he was getting in Denver Harris and Duce Chestnut went to the bench and became Jimmy Hoffa

Idk if it's panic more than it is frustration. This has been the worst defensive year in program history and it doesn't feel like we are addressing those issues in the class.

So he was supposed to not take a chance on an extremely talented CB in Harris despote not having any CBs on the team?
And he was supposed to know that an All ACC CB was gonna be a complete flop?
It didn't work out this year but the CB situation is all on O and Raymond for leaving the cupboards so bare.
Only way I think you can blame Kelley is for the Steeples hire which hasn't worked out at all.

No he hasn't been on the field all season, so you don't know what you are getting
