If OKC public schools weren't retarded and had school today like they should have, it would all be a moot point.

Serious question, he couldnt have lined up an announcement ceremony not at school?

Michael Bonnette has all but said he's in the class. They have his papers. They're just not announcing his addition until tomorrow so that he can have his ceremony.

Serious answer: He doesn't live for the gratification of message board denizens.

Well the whole thing for an announcement ceremony is to have your friends, family, coaches, teachers, etc all there.

And the media wants to be there.

He could have done it by himself from his kitchen if he wanted to. But thats not really an announcement ceremony.

So his people are denying his LOI is at LSU so he can "have his moment" but me inquiring about a non school related announcement ceremony is for message board gratification? You serious Clark?

Happy we kept him, but I hope it's the best choice for him.

Uh, pretty sure there's quite a few D-lineman in the NFL right now who are sure grateful about choosing DLU/DBU.

Think he is talking about Clark's mom and her health issues.

I'm well aware of what he's inferring. But if he turns into the next stud DE in the Chief's defense, he'll take care of his mom better than anything they could have hoped for in 3-4 years.

I'm confused. Mom and coach are refuting claims?

I'm thinking LC was a deciding factor.

Unless a fake LOI was sent in, it appears LSU was supposed to keep this under wraps until Clark could announce at his own press conference tomorrow.

But someone in the know for LSU jumped the gun.

I feel sorry for Clark. It's his moment.

sure he could have, he apparently didn't want to. Maybe he wanted to share the experience with his school and coaches...

Im sorry but he sent in his LOI. If he wanted to have his moment he should have just waited til tomorrow to send in his LOI.

I dont blame him for wanting to have his moment and everything. I would want that too. But I wouldnt fax my LOI until after I had my moment and announced my decision.

And you fax in LOIs. I doubt they are faxing to a secret fax # that only Les has access too. Someone reads the fax, then brings it to someone above them, then they hand it to 1 of the coaches.

I feel sorry for Clark too. But if i wanted to have my moment or whatever, I wouldnt fax in my LOI the day before I announce.

Either way.... pumped we kept him

His moment happened when he committed. Everybody doesn't have to set up a table of hats. The kid was good enough to get a committable offer from LSU early on. No need to play silly games to have your "moment", everyone knows where you are going since last year. All your hometown will support you whether you have ten hats on the table or just showing up to sign LOI and be praised.
