I feel like the best thing to do is go the backs against the wall mentality and let things fly. That goes for the defense and Lee. Let the athleticism take over and go for it like the d did late the other night.

I think the coaches definitely realized this about the O. Even Miles made a comment after the game that they try and protect Lee too much. When we air it out and open the playbook, we play better even if Lee does make a mistake.

Well if you're concerned I guess I better be. And what exactly has happened in the last 2 months aside from us losing an OFFENSIVE commit? Picking up a 4* DT last week?

I dont blame the Troy game on the coordinators. They played with zero intensity through 3 quarters. When they finally woke up mid way through the third quarter with the same players, coordinators, and scheme they started lockin down. This one was on the players for not being ready to play.

Yes you're right but I also think its on the coaches to remind them the importance of every game and the danger of Troy. Miles admitted it himself. If they're not up, he and the rest of the staff has to get them up.

Agreed. And by no means am I saying these guys (the coordinators) are the answer. But Troy was on the players. Hopefully the intensity showed in the 4th quarter carries over into Ole Piss.

it doesnt take a genius to figure out that if we had a good dc we would have a better chance at defensive recruits than we do with the two we have

It will be okay. Peveto and Mallory will be demoted or gone after this season. These new recruits will have a new and much improved DC
