But … wasn’t a big part of the narrative that CLK would be able to get high school and portal recruits at LSU that he could not get at Ole Miss?

Moreover, my post was comparing LSU fan expectations versus Ole Miss and LSU prior portal experience. The fans are unlikely to get what they were likely expecting.
Even when you look at LSU's portal class last year, only 7 were in the Top 100.
