Oh, I understand pitch counts..........and he's throwing too much.

It's not the first time it's happened in HS.....won't be the last.

He won 3 State Titles and MVP's so far. (correct me if im wrong-1 Barbe, 2 Zachary) Last year held Shaw's batters to a hit and a walk in the State Championship game. He is a nasty right handed breaking pitcher with a lanky frame. Very humble guy.

Too much money is going to be thrown his way - he can go to college later......

No such thing as could have been a firstrounder.......GOING to Arky.... draft is before they show up on campus......and whether you sign or not.... if you are that good u get drafted high..

yea might of been SCar but still the same thing...and he would of been a first rounder but his parents made him go to school and they told the mlb teams that came to see him to not draft him. They told the story last year on tv when we were playing them.

thats not true, teams will shy away from players if there are major signability issues. As in they are asking for too much money for their type of talent or they just want to attend college. A kid turned down Yankee money in the 1st round this year when it was known he wanted to attend college. Alot of teams just stayed away from him.
Also Justin Smoak was a very likely 1st or 2nd round choice coming out of highschool but it was known he was going to college so most teams passed on him early.

I"ve heard he throws mid to upper 80's on a fastball and his curve is unhittable. Am I right on the speed thing?
