Solid point! When was the last time anyone one associated with Alabama’s football team was suspended for academic reasons?

Unless they needed to be processed.

Sounds like Ish played the coaches, Vol and the Rant.
The no commit should have been a red flag, plus all the visits to Bama. Now he will get to ride the bench and get cussed by Saban every day for the next 4 years. Will end up at Scuba Tech
Ish = T. Valentine

I just laugh at this intellect. Lol. How did he play the coaches? Please explain. O recruited him hard. He didn't get him. We didn't lose anyone because we thought we had ish. How would you have handled it then genius? Just give up on him?
I agree he was way overrated but this was more about territorial wars and not as much about star power. Bam$ won that one. They didn't win several others, including stingly and Emery.
Btw, ish has talent to be a star if he is dedicated. That said, he is all about entitlement as is his family, and I don't see him making it 2 years there.

Vol,
To hell with the trolls and malcontents.
You did your best.
Keep up the good work.

Vol let the haters hate. Ignore them. 90% of this board values your insight.

Ish doesn't do this alone. He needs support to pull this off. That support came from the barber, his dad and Petito (sp?).

You’re an alter.....so it’s kind of ironic you’re calling someone fake.

O wasn't stupid, he didn't put all his eggs in one basket.
Thank goodness he learned that lesson after what he did with RBs two years ago.

Just finished #6 in nation and pulled in a top 5 recruiting class and here you are still bitching.
There's always room for improvement, especially if you're not #1. I think Coach O would agree with that, no?

O faught like hell against long odds to get ish
What long odds?

Ishmael Sopsher was never coming to LSU. I can’t believe anyone actually thought he was!

Funny part is LSU has the boosters and $$$ to outbid Bama but is afraid.
LSU Board of Directors and administration just does not want to win or willing to do what it takes to win.

I know two big boosters, they are much more rational than you.

How so? Because I stayed on the sidelines and watched for a few years then decided to make an account? Believe me, I've wanted to post many times over the last few years. I probably came on a little strong when I finally got an account, I agree. There are just certain posters that I had built up angst against. Ftr, you always appear very level headed. Not that you care what I think.

As do I, and your above statement shows you haven't a clue.

I agree, he did learn his lesson, and they obviously had backup plans in place.
Sure there is room for improvement. Never said otherwise. Definitely trending in right direction.
You don't think those were long odds? Ok, that's your opinion. Certainly entitled to it.

I don't know you and I agree with nearly all of this.

He simply told the coaches what they wanted to hear and then didn't follow through. Thats all.

Sure you do. As for having a clue. I'd take his advice everyday of the week over yours, and twice on Sunday.
