Out of curiosity, was this a purely numbers thing and they saw him as the bottom of the totem pole among pitchers and thats why they cut him loose...or, his incident still played a factor in the decision and he wasnt necessarily the least talented guy so he got cut loose but rather they didnt want to take the "chance" on him?
Honestly it seemed like he pitched pretty well this summer and has some legit talent to contribute, so to me it still seems like his incident is a primary reason he was the one let go and not someone else like a portal player, current player or JUCO guy.

this. he was number 2 or 3 pitcher in class
