Like I said, watch the video and offer a genuine assessment of your own. If all you can do is sit there and lie to yourself then fine. But simply stating how he "neutralized" JC without actually offering any breakdown means you either don't know shite about breaking down film, or you have watched it and are afraid to admit Collins got his arse handed to him. Like I said I think LC will be a great OL for LSU. But the truth is he got handled in that game.

That really wasn't directed at you. Another poster posted something saying that whoever thought Collins dominated Clowney was a drunken homer. It obvisiously wasn't directed just at me since I never said LC dominted Clowney because thats not true but I did say Collins neutralized clowney I decided to make sure I wasn't being mistaken for a die-hard LSU homer.
MY point about the bama I worked with and you calling "how it was" is that in your eyes thats how you felt it went down. Everybody sees things differntly and I believe in how I saw it and its different than how you saw it. So instead of being childish and calling you a liar I stated thats your opinion of how it went down because I saw Collins preventing him from looking like the best recruit and maybe fanning wide or crashing doen inside because thats what the playcall might required. Fact is and the announcers even stated that Collins did a good job neutralizing Clowney.

I agree. Never said anything about him playing as a freshman because I also don't believe that. Top teams like LSU( and bama) have to much talent and depth for most freshmen to contribute right away. but I do think he will be all SEC before he leaves LSU.

You posted a generalization like every other person on LC's nuts in this thread. I asked for a play by play. If you don't wanna post one fine. But it doesn't help your cause of trying to defend LC's performance...which wasn't half as good as you homers are trying to make it out to be.

I must agree with you but he is a beast and might end up with some good playing time but i think his time will be next year for sure to many others ahead and deserve it more they did there time i realy like the dude cant wait for his dayview.

The nice thing about the recruiting board around here had been that it was a step above the SEC Rant - esp because people mostly make an effort to express an opinion respectfully and then move on without dwelling.
I think this is why we need a separate LSU vs other SEC teams recruiting board - because we end up with this chicken shite "yes it is" "no it isn't" line of debate
Having watched the film I think it was a pretty even match-up overall - people looking to say one player dominated are doing so either because they wish it were so or because they want to get under other people's skin
