Might be a 5* in a few days. ESPN updated their rankings and he's the #1 WR.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Johnson is the biggest get in the state this year. There are lots of great players in LA (Tillery, Brossette, , Guice to name a few), but Johnson just has superstar written all over him.

I don't understand how he isn't a 5 star and Campbell is. Campbell is only rated #1 because of his speed/height combo. He doesn't have consistent hands and he doesn't have great route running. He's also being viewed as a safety so he should be in the athlete category.

I think the philosophy for the rankings services is to attempt to grade on potential - even potential at the NFL level.
Campbell having elite speed and height could and maybe should make him a five star because he can work on his hands and improve upon his route running while in college.

I'm not dogging him, just questioning his #1 WR label. He reminds me of Martavis Bryant who is coming out of Clemson this year for the draft. 6'4 211 who ran an unofficial 4.34 and official 4.42. Dabo even said he beat Watkins in a foot race, so yes he is really fast. Thing that hindered him and will not get him drafted high is his inconsistent hands. I see a lot of upside with Campbell, but he's more raw than the guys he's in front of.
