Last weekend the NBA held its Jr. NBA Showcase in Las Vegas. Only 10 young players in the U.S. and 10 International were invited to participate. Louisiana had two incoming freshmen invited in Ruston's Ahmad Hudson (son of former LSU player Antonio Hudson) and Calvary Baptist freshman Tyrone Jamison Jr.

Louisiana having top 10 basketball recruits nationally would be a long-time coming. Of course, one or both will probably end up at some Basketball Institute of America Academy by their junior seasons.
I also read that Newman has a 6'10 class of 2025 kid. He any good? It would also be a rarity for the state to produce a big time big.

Antawn Jamison is from Shreveport. Wonder if the young Jamison is related. If so, both players have great blood lines.

Hudson is going to be a receiver at Ruston high this year. He is expected to get good playing as a true freshman. At 6’6 though he may grow out of football.
