No, didn't have anything to do with LC really. He is a tweener though size wise and a lot of people think if he somehow ended up at Alabama (they are rumored to have offered him a greyshirt yesterday) that he'd eventually play safety.

The thing I keep hearing over and over about Alexander is that he is bad (looked uncomfortable/awkward in camp) in coverage?

he's not a tweener in LSUs defense though

he would be a nice pickup this late in the process and take a chance on him. Its not like not LSU HAS to get a bigtime LB right now, we have 4 already in this class.

It's true.

I don't believe the Safety talk at all. I think that's a bunch of fan talk trying to fit him in at Bama. They may have briefly looked at him there, but they probably saw he wasn't that refined in coverage as well.

IMO...

AUB fan here, news about Kwon is confusing. No room @ FSU, needs to play OLB in a 4-3. Would have to greatly improve coverage skills to play safety but speed is great IF he completely recovers from ACL. Some strong talk about Tre Elston & Kwon as package to LSU, but surprised Miles would do that. Has shown interest & visited AUB, locals at his town would be shocked if #1 LB in ALA accepted greyshirt to UAT. Anybody have new info to hint where Kwon is headed?? Thx

Why not take them as a packaged deal? We have 4 spots left and so far it isn't looking like we'll fill them with much. Elston would fit a need at S or WR if we need him. A couple of our guys has academic problems. Alexander has potential and we should just stock up on LBs while we can...we never recruit them well. It also puts a pipeline into Bama.

Why would you be surprised? According to many Elston's SR. film looks terrific. There are some LSU fans that want Elston and *not* Alexander.

Word is Elston is visiting this weekend and kwon may take an unofficial. But we wont know until someone confirms either were on campus or are on campus tomorrow.
