Five-star OT Tristan Leigh gives the latest ahead of his trip to Ohio State

"Nothing is really new with LSU," he said. "Coach Cregg and I are talking on the phone. Coach O and I have been on the phone too. We're talking about how things might have been different if I was playing for them against Missouri and things like that. It's gets me amped up seeing myself in that situation.
"Caleb (Williams) is probably one of the best recruiters Oklahoma has," Leigh said. "I've really been seeing Oklahoma's recruiting picking up with some other guys and with me. It's not just Caleb but you really see what they have to offer and you see it's a good place to be. I'm not really discouraged by this season. You've seen that they can get to the Playoff because they've been doing it.

Nope. Hard nope. If he goes there I fully except next class to be focused on O-Line and I expect atleast Devon Bowie and Will Campbell.

Dude THIS class was supposed to be focused on O-Line. Even if we DO land Leigh, this will be the third consecutive class that is dangerously thin at OL. You simply *cannot* have back-to-back-to-back classes with no more than 3 offensive linemen and expect things to work out. I dont really know what my point is but i'm just venting. Leigh is an absolute must get for us. Will be scary if we don't land him.

I'm sure it was but it seems like we where never in the top two for most of the big prospects or prospects we went after. Latham, Bryce Foster, seems like Leigh now, Spindler. Geez that hurts.

This class and every class should get at a minimum 4 on the OLine, cause you never know when something can happen and you get left very thin

Missing out on Leigh isn’t an option. If O has to camp out at his house at 4 am like he did Chiasson then so be it. He and Maason are absolute must gets. No other way around it.

There’s a chance in bodwin just said Leigh said other teams are up there but LSU is up there with them. Saying no chances sounds stupid

Bad news... the one place i fear more than any other in recruiting. From what i've read their recruits are all real tight and fellow Virginian TreVeon Henderson will be there.... and he committed without even going to Columbus,

tOSU has always been in the picture.
They MAY gain some ground, and their bash would obviously be a factor.
But just remember, feelings are always high right after a visit. He was all OU (according to many of the online people) after their unofficial-unofficial bash.
Same with us, but we were on better footing.
But I'd say if we're competing with anyone directly for Leigh it is tOSU. Not OU.

Yeah, I agree... Being so much closer to home is a big factor for his mother.
