They sure looked like it in January.....If you played in the SEC, you would struggle to make a New Year's day bowl.

poor dumb aggie, you haven't even had the best O-line in the big 12 south in recent years.

It's a damn good young OL, any football mind would agree, the best in the country, that's always impossible and foolish to claim. Better than the cumulative ~24 stars on the starting Whorn OL......... even in their sleep.

Geaux pick your game up, street agent drivel is tired, you're better than that and owe your lackeys better material.

Said it twice and will say it again, Feb is a long way away.

It's not even a damn good line. That line looked real well against LSU. Is it a good line in the Big 12? Yes, but that's not saying much.

Hell, A&M lost the same number of games against the SEC last year that they did the Big 12. I don't know why they would even consider moving to the SEC. Just be happy as Texas' red-headed step-child and accept it.

At least A&M's basketball team would look great over here

pretty sure these guys both cut any ties to Will Lyles because Lyles hasn't given either of them a ride to Baton Rouge or Auburn in months.

Would you like to compare the academic credentials of A&M and Okie Lite?

And further, I'm not talking about recent years. I'm talking about the 4 years that Trey Williams and Matt Williams will spend playing in the backfield. Last year there were something like 9 true freshmen starting on the OL among BCS schools. 2 of those were on A&M's line. Cyrus Gray rushed for over 1,100 yards behind that line and C-Mike ran for 600+ before breaking his leg in game 6. Dana Holgorson doesn't coach in Stillwater anymore. I think your disappointment is affecting your ability to think clearly.

There are just as many longhorns posting on this thread as there are Aggies. You're funny. Also - scoreboard, and good luck in Kyle Field on Thanksgiving.

OK, so football board fail for talking academic smack. OK State has done well against us recently. I do think you have a legitimate point about our offensive line being young and being one of the best in the oncoming years. That one's obvious if people do their homework.

While we have an OK State cowboy's attention though, is it true that y'all hired a new offensive coordinator and are trying to teach him Dana's offense rather than allowing him to do his own job?

So both Trevor Knight and Davis are committed to the Aggies now? Huh... One will decommitt

Knight likes competition and wanted Davis to commit. Davis committed knowing Knight was already there.

Just out of curiosity, why is there a Big 12 pissing contest on an LSU recruiting board?

Someone linked this thread to another thread on either shaggybevo or texags is my guess. I'm not sure what OSU cowboys fans post on.

1) The guy said it was the best period. Now and in 4 years. Here is exactly what he said:

quote:

2 high school kids just realized they could spend 4 years playing behind the best O line in the country.

2) You want to talk about doing your homework?

-LSU had a better rushing offense overall last year (#27, 187.54 ypg, as opposed to A&M's #46, 165.00 ypg).

-LSU returns 4 starters on the line, all of whom are upperclassmen and have at least two years of experience by this point. We also return two backups who have started or forced into starting roles. That's 6 linemen with starting experience. We only have one hole to fill at LT, and it is between a former blue chip Chris Faulk or the #1 incoming freshman tackle La'el Collins.

-LSU just kicked A&M's arse. Held Gray to 100 yards. 68 of those yards came in the first half. 50 came in the first quarter. That means that LSU shut Gray down in the second half. 32 yards in the second half.

-A&M starting center, Matt Allen, is a former backup at LSU. He never would have seen the field. One of A&M's starting guards, Patrick Lewis, is from Louisiana but wasn't good enough to get a scholarship offer from LSU.

-Figure it out.

Another voice of reason. Thank you for that. And of course it was posted on TexAgs, they have nothing better to do over there then try to make themselves feel better
