I live in Tulsa and follow OU a good bit. Trevor is a great kid, but he''s not even close to Brandon Harris talent-wise. Sure OU beat Bama, but that one game was an anomaly. He replaced Baker Mayfield a few weeks ago and the offense stalled completely. OU fans will tell you he's their worst starting QB in 20 years.

He's not the answer.

Yeah, that's all we can hope for these days.

Only meaningful PT he had this year was against TCU. OU was up 23-7 when Knight came in. OU won 30-29 and their only score with Knight was a 70 yd run by Perine.

Knight finished 5-16 with one int. sign his arse up!!!

Why would anyone be excited for this? Has anyone actually watched this dude play? He's not that good but I guess when you're desperate you have to get what you can. I honestly don't think this guy would be better than Harris with another year of development. Harris is extremely young and already saw a fairly big leap from true freshman to sophomore year. 3 game skid is bad but it's more a mental thing with him that will fix itself. I'm not ready to give up on him.

Hell, I'd take him because we need QBs but I doubt he ever does much for us if he did come here. It's pretty bad when RB gets excited for a QB of this caliber...someone please come in and save us.

Knight is way too similar to JJ for my liking. He has every physical tool needed to succeed, and has had a few really nice games, but overall he just can't seem to put it all together consistently. He makes bad throws and poor reads way too frequently. I'll pass.

I don't believe he can help us. I'm not sure the staff knows how to evaluate qbs. The top 2 qbs in the SEC this year were waived by LSU. Trevor Knight has played 1 good game in his career. This is a waste of time.
