Yea, you're a better talent evaluator than Saban, Miles (1st LSU offer for 09 btw), Stoops, Weis, Carrol, etc.

Yea, we are head up for several this year. I think Randle's close to a coin flip, but I know you guys feel he's a lock, so no point in really discussing. We were never really a player for Montgomery. Myles will be interesting. Loston and Jones at LSU help Bama. I agree on Lacy, probably a sign and place for someone.

I don't think we get Randle either. I would say of all those listed Myles is the only real shot. Lacy is a different issues... grades and such.

FWIW, ESPN has McCarron ranked around #35 overall. My mistake they have him ranked #37 in their last ESPNU150.

Well, this time last year when Bama fans were saying the state of Alabama was going to be "down" DJ Fluker lived in Mississippi. He transferred to Foley during the summer. So I would say that it's not that people were wrong or right, but there are more factors to consider. You are giving fans way too much credit when it comes to scouting high school talent.

I think all are legit 5 stars but Fluker and Richardson may be slightly overrated as far as the overall rankings.

This is only my second post here in several days, and all I said was I wondered when some butt sore poster would start with the
