Looks like he'll be a pretty good player. He has more potential than Richard.

Thats saying a lot. If Richard will learn to block a little better he will see some playing time in the NFL.

From what i have read he would be a TE first with the possibility of being a DE if needed.

Have you been watching the games! He may be the best blocking tight end in the SEC.

Travis will be a Tight End if he comes to LSU.

he WAS a great blocking tight end but has been piss poor in that department the last few games. watch the fricking replay, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I may be a little biased but I think that Richards play stands for itself. His blocking to me is one of his strong points. He stays with his man and usually opens up big lanes for our running backs. The problem as of late is that every team that we play puts almost everyone up in the box and there are more guys to block than we have blockers for.
We will all see how good Richard is on draft day in 1 1/2 years. He was on pace to re-write the record books at LSU until our QB problems arose.
Richard and Travis spent most of their younger years in Texas. Their family is from south Mississippi and moved back in Richards freshman season in high school.
Travis is very comfortable at LSU and has known the coaches for 3 or 4 years. He will have plenty more offers coming and will probably take some visits. He is a real hard nosed player who plays every down full speed. He really shined at an LSU camp a few months ago at Tight End. The kid from Utah was there and Travis made him look very average. I think his name was Wilson........I'm not sure but LSU did offer him.

no doubt Richard is an awesome TE, I'm just saying if he wants his draft status to really elevate he needs to become a team leader and definitely get some of his blocking assignments down that he normally has done awesome with. He is one of my favorite tigers. I've met him a few times, he's good friends with one of my good girlfriends at Ole Miss and played football with one of my good friends. Nice guy, great football player. Nothing wrong with constructive criticism. BTW, are you related to him?

Best set of hands on the team. When he muffed one against Ole Piss, I knew we were in trouble.

Expect to see him on Sundays in a couple of years.

Not related but friends with family.
I think that the team feels like if they should be competing for a national championship. Its a shame that the QB situation turned out to be so inconsistant (being nice). I think that it ran over into the defensive play. Three and outs are deflating to both sides of the ball.
I don't know anyting but I just wonder how much confidence the players have in the coaching staff. I think that the offenseive play calling didn't help Lee at all. I know that you can't run all the time but how bout some short stuff in the passing game instead of trying to force things down field to Lafell. On defense, how bout letting our very atheletic secondary come up and cover somebody instead of playing 10 to 15 yards off of their guy?
Hopefully Jefferson and Lee can finish the season strong and gain some confidence in themselves. Hopefully Les Miles will be tough enough to make the decisions that need to be made in the coaching staff. This team digressed in many areas and i blame the coaches for that.

Did you gauge that from one highlight video? Impressive.
