As mentioned, there will be some late additions.

Tolan is in. There will be more high profile players from other schools. We may keep him or there may be something going on.

Just sit back and watch your adult head coach Navigate this like he’s done everything else above average.

College football's transfer portal for the 2022-23 season opens on Dec. 5 for players to officially enter and explore their options for the upcoming year. The first window closes on Jan. 18, with the second transfer availability coming April 15-30 in the spring

There are two windows.

Obviously the first window is open with no rules on when you can enter in that window.

With rampant tampering; do you think there are any coaches out there that have suggested to top players with transferring on their mind that they just hold off for two weeks.

Let the Black-Friday-style entering and committing happen, then enter?

I can see where there are some top performers that wait until the dust settles. They declare for the teams that missed out on certain top players and the nil market goes crazy.

Also, are there going to be high profile entrants in the second window?

I can see where either teams or players may want consultants to help them with this. Aka; agents.

I find this to be such an odd comment that I can't get by it. The windows were created to bring order as to when players can declare their intent to transfer. So of course there are no other restrictions. But the window only applies to entering the portal, not leaving it. For example, a team can sign a player out of the portal, as we did with Daniels, right before spring practice.

So that may be a misnomer on my part.

I just mean that a guy can enter the portal on Jan 17 if he wants to

Then he can commit to another on Jan 18.

They don’t have to declare in December

I am curious if there are some patient players that will enter after new years. They still have plenty of time.

There are 3 milestones for portal entry for most players. First is end of season, Some declare earlier but cant officially do so until window opens. These early guys probably had some significant academic or behavioral issue. Second is after the bowls and players see what the future looks like with new incoming players. Last is the spring window after spring practice

Question for the RB experts.. Can a Grad Transfer declare anytime or do they have to follow the portal rules?

This is that second wave.

It’s just not as defined as the first one.

Not as many, but you had to wait for the “entire” season to end.

Some Uga guys may get NIL’d right back to Uga, honestly.

You see it all the time with go5 coaches thst are testing the $market.

Guaranteed, though, it will make coaches and fans crazy.

Think about getting some LB back in December just to bolster depth, then see some 5 stars hit the portal in January and you’d rather have them instead.
You cannot tell the recent additions tk hit the road.
It’s a sure fire shite show.

Tampering is actually very important to know what is/will going on in the market.
