Jaheim Bell TE from USCe commits to FSU. Shite. Woulda been a nice fit.

Interested to see if this a situation where one of the elite players officially gets into the portal and signs somewhere else the same day because the deal was already made.
Then again, it could just mean "we are open for business" same as everybody else...

Are we not pissing our db recruits off by not offering any secondary transfer portal kids? Or are they a dime a dozen and will be there in the end of the free agency?

Something like that got poopoo'd earlier in the thread but I'm not dismissing anything that could be a factor.
This is really the first year of the truly Wild West Show.
I say if he thinks holding off on DB transfers to be sure we sign the 4 or 3 year Freshman DB's that will be the foundation of the program, then so be it.
We haven't seen how CBK actually does this transfer/recruiting thang for a full cycle but if last year's pulling all the guys that were major contributors is repeated, he will obviously be kicking arse whether it's the early portal or the late one after Spring Practices.
For my money, Harris is the domino.

Radar was a tremendous athlete and if it wasn’t for his lack of discipline in the class he could have been a great db here. He will excel at state if he wants to.

Yep. I was a Dumey guy. Hope he balls out and gets drafted.
On the OL there's still Hill, Makaneole, Thomas, Turner, Bradford, Delly, and Martinez who could look for greener pastures.
These guys all have value even with only 1 year of practicing/playing under CBK/CBD.

You'd hope Turner, Bradford, Delly, and Martinez would stay but there are no guarantees.
Delly/Martinez/Turner/West makes the C position set.
Delly/Martinez can both play G too and while Bradford could declare - or go portal because he sees too much competition because of newcomers added to Frazier/Dellinger/Martinez/Jones? - another year as a starter should help his draft stock.

Looking at On3 right now there are only 2 guys who stand out as potential All Conference talents.
That's not to dismiss any of the others - just what it appears to be on paper.
They are both OT's - Cornelius of Rhode Island (who apparently plays inside also) and Byers of UTEP. All the other Tackles and IOL pretty much look like the same guy profile wise.
I expect Jones gets moved down inside if we pull one of those two big boys at Tackle.
Which would help make Bradford - who has started an entire season of SEC football - a hot commodity if he went Portal.
