I'm mad as hell at LM and his arrogance this season, but no one can complain with his results. Saban is 60+ so we should appreciate someone from that era who is not afraid to go head up and win if he has the horses.

All the posts about LSU giving up on Howard…I can't imagine Ron Cooper hasn't made some kind of contact with him. Isn't he from Florida?

We probably lost some ground with Gonzales leaving, but maybe we weren't really all that in it to begin with, and the staff is focusing on landing more likely recruits.

Doubt it... If it's just a question of moving into an empty slot (as oppose to earning it) UF is probably the winner hands down but I think LSU is working this deal as hard (and as discreetly) as they know how. Based on subtleties I've observed in both his and family comments, I think that regardless of what the externals indicate LSU is still very much in it. (Call me crazy!) There's so much to like about this guy.

I know we have DB and S needs that can be won right away. Maybe not the case at Bama, where LC is coming in with another top S, and an upperclassmen who decided not to go pro. Not to mention they are probably going after a top S in 2013 as well.
Things go in cycles and right now, we have needs in the back field and have a really good coach to boot. What's not to like? But they're kids and easily impressed....
