re: Top-50 DL Nathan Pickering sets up return visit to LSU

Who is Dean seriously looking at besides LSU? Is it State and LSU or is he looking at Bama, GA, FL, and the rest hard as well?
If this defense plays like they're capable of playing, sacks, TFL, FF, FR, INTs for TDs this could be a fun defense to watch and very interesting to a young man to want to be a part of. I would really like to land these big time MLBrs, with some of these 3/4 DEs. 2020 is also looking like a monster haul at the DL position. The depth we could create if we can get some of these top guys to commit would be ELITE.
That would also be right about the time that our huge NTs/LBrs/ and secondary are maturing. Hopefully it would all coincide with our offense coming into its own as well. I really hope Steve E and this staff can get the ball moving on offense bc if they can do that this year, it will be a huge leg up for recruiting going forward.
Don't think that these defensive guys don't get excited about a great offense who can move the ball. I would sick Aranda and Orgeron all over these top defensive front seven prospects. We sure could use some surprise commits from the top DEs and LBers. I hope we can get them to start believing in the Tigers!!

UGA and Bama would be the two out front right now. Both think they lead, but I kinda think it's UGA at the moment.

So, at the moment Ika is there for an unofficial visit.
Sopsher, Pickering, and Charles Moore are there for the linemen camp. Also Sopsher has an older brother that's in Juco that's also there.

You know more than me, but I was surprised that you thought there was a chance Pickering could commit this weekend. He seems like he’s enjoying the recruiting game too much to do that.
