Per CPA

I believe we got them in the bag. They are hanging out with our 3 commits tonight with the coaches. I honestly believe we will get them, Reed, and the #2 LB from Conn - Khari Fortt. He wants to be an aviation major and has family in B'ham. He was blown away today. We have also cooled on Dyer and Mack Brown goes from naming us his leader to not in his top 6. He was told to go away.
Translations made easy by the Hobo....
"I believe we got them in the bag" - translation - "I don't know shite"
"I honestly believe we will get them" - translation - "I am retarded"
"He was blown away today." - translation - "Somebody shot that dude"
"We have also cooled on Dyer" translation - "We have no fricking chance of getting Dyer to Auburn"
"He was told to go away" - translation - "He doesn't want to go to Auburn, so he sucks now"

Looks like I would have lost my bet to CPA, by reading all the stuff that claims Lache is asilant commit to AU. I guess it not silent anymore.

I seldom post here anymore, but I would like to inject a thought or two on 'Big Cat Weekend'.
First, I think the entire weekend was a great idea. I know that the recruits had a great time.
Second, this is just a little too early in the process to expect a bunch of commitments from the quality of recruits that were at this 'party'.
Third, this could work negatively toward Auburn when these recrtuits take their officials to other schools. Coaches that take a more traditional approch will remind the recruits that a fun weekend is good, but achieving goals in football takes work and sound caoching. Those coaches will tell the recruits what they have to offer on the football field and the fact that football is hard work. They will remind those recruits what the benefits are for them to come to their programs.
Fourth, Auburn is going to have to prove themselves on the field, that the Auburn program and coaching staff can offer the recruits the same things that the proven teams can offer.
Fifth, what will the parents think of such a tactic. Evidently, some of the recruits were negatively impacted by the weekend already. The length of time to National Signing day is such a long time in the future, this weekend will be only a pleasant memory. Other caoches are going to 'pick' this weekend apart and they have a long time to plan their tactics to counteract this weekend.
Sixth, the recruits will see how their HS coaches approach football and understand the things that make a successful team. Most will understand that football is not just a bunch of guys having a good time.
Lastly, the recruits will be placed with other teams' stud players who will show them a healthy blend of football and entertainment when they take their official visits.
The longer each recruit goes without a commitment the less vivid this weekend will remain in their minds. Every recruit comes away raving about an official (or party weekend) and these recruits will be no different when they go to other schools.
I do not think this weekend will have a tremendous inluence on most if not all the recruits. In the end they will go the university that is best for each. In some cases that university may be Auburn, but this weekend will produce little reason for that final decision.

Do u seriously think Auburn coaches arent doing that? All we've seen is the clip from Toomers corner, there's a lot of things that go on behind the scene that we didnt see.
Seastrunk drove 14 hours to Auburn. The staff is selling these kids something other than just a 'block party'
