It’s still a two season process to get back to where a player was. NFL and college. Yes they can play but they’ve spent a year rehabbing a knee and not gaining in football shape. I.E. Mason Smith this year. Wait till next year and you’ll see the real Smith.

We have 1 safety on the roster that has proven capable of playing SEC football at a good level and that’s Jardin Gilbert. The rest of the guys are either garbage or have no experience

Or maybe it's because the ball is releasing within 1 to 2 seconds because our dbs can't cover, and are done that early in the route.
