I heard he was expecting a offer

Yep, got the offer yesterday

He has some maturing to do. From what I saw last season he needs to become a better leader.

As most sophomores do

Sure, I am looking forward to seeing how my boys do this season. Last year was terrible. No one is expecting much from them, the talent is not doubt down from recent years. But never underestimate a Hank Tierney team.

Steve Wiltfong said he was impressed at the camps by how good of a leader he is

Some times you need to be told what you need to get better at....then do it. All part of the learning process.

No idea who that is so I don't know if that should mean anything.

He's the director of 247 website

Yeah it does, means a lot.

Would be a great pickup. Kid is super talented

All you do is bash the kid on here and you really have no idea what was going on. If you don’t know facts shut the hell up. I’m sure you sit with the people who y’all at the coaches to call different plays as well.
People used to get banned on here for bashing kids as much as you do.

I hope we pull both Finley and Brown out of Zachary.
Wanna talk about a one-two punch?
Louisiana has a solid crop of QB's coming up the next several years around the state as high school programs are evolving in our state to the spread system (finally) with tall athletic quarterback play with great athletic strength.
I know in my area alone we have Brister and Kahmann out of Neville and West Monroe who will be headed to college (whether major DI it has yet to be seen). Ouachita has a 6'3" 200 lbs QB themselves that will be a sophomore who absolutely showed out against Airline in their scrimmage here recently and ran their spread offense flawlessly.
Times are changing in Louisiana when it comes to offensive systems in high school to the benefit of our flagship program. About time.

Hasn't the spread hurt states like Texas when it comes to getting physical linemen? I could be wrong I'm asking. I know one of my buddies who's a Texas fan has made that complaint that it's becoming more 7 on 7 and the talent in the trenches is declining
Posted on 5/28/18 at 5:55 pm to Lsualum2017
Dude that is happening all around the nation.
Recently there was a great write up--forgot where--that speaks to your proclamation.
