i just got off the phone with the young man and he told me so, he can't figure out why LSU staff won't reach out to him

Do all you can. We need players that want to be part of the team. His highlights are pretty good, he's a thumper.

When did he have his hip surgery? If that was before his senior year, it looks like he recovered well.

that was last spring, he fully recovered and played his entire senior season and made the shrine bowl

It's better than wasting a scholarship on a kicker, fullback or deep snapper. Those positions can and have been capably filled by walk-ons. Yet LSU is happy to piss away scholarships on those spots and leave holes in depth along the front 7.

These are the kind of players you need for games like Alabama. Kids who play hard with heart and have something to prove. If ND and FSU can offer him, why wouldn't we pick him up to compete for a spot and/or create depth at a position of need? Hopefully, they'll begin to realize this.
