Understandably. But he won't ride the pine his whole career there.

He had an article out last week on 247 that was also VERY pro LSU.

It was not one that Sonny or Shea wrote for the LSU site either. It was a Florida State site writer writing it for their site.

He said more good things about LSU than he did about FSU.
It was pretty awesome.

Well if Beckwith still strongly considering Bama, he is proably Bama bound and would rather not catch the heat from tiger faithful just yet. the theory that kids that wait it out are most likely headed OOS is pretty weak

If he reads this board like so many other 2013 recruits do, he'll know LSU fans would rather he announce to Bama early if that's the plan. There have been multiple discussions about LSU fans favoring guys committing OOS early, the way Denzel Devall did, over pulling an LC.

A lot of people think he is being genuine in saying the schools are neck-and-neck in the race. He seems to just be giving the decision the due diligence it deserves. My inclination is to think he was favoring Bama at one time is just questioning that idea now.

Hope LSU gets him because he's a heck of a player.

stuff i read on 247 it sounded like Bama had kind of cooled on him, maybe that's changed now that the season has started or they missed on someone else.

I have read this as well and the 247 guys are the best in the business as far as information. they like lsu in this battle.

about lc he should play eventually but is the 5th safety on the depth chart behind Lester sunseri Clinton dix and Perry.

LC could probably be playing now if he came in some form, weather it be safety, nickle or dime.

Dreaux, I'd like to ask you something privately, could I have your email address? Mine is lsufanva@yahoo.com if you'd rather send it there. If not, no big deal.

Ideal Closing 5:

1) Williams
2) Gilmore
3) Beckwith
4) Willis
5) RSJ

Next one in: Skinner

They can only sign 25 this year, no matter what. So, unless someone decommits, they may only have room for 3 of those 5. I believe we go after skinner and drop stokes at TE. If we don't get Beckwith, I believe we finish with gilmore, williams, and RSJ. In the end, I believe willis stays on west coast.

I hate the SEC for making those so called new rules so damn confusing to everyone. They couldn't just leave well enough alone. The numbers will work out. We just have to be patient and let it all play out. The staff has every intention of making those listed above fit and maybe Skinner as well.

They still do. The SEC just confused everyone(which imo was the point to throw the dogs off the trail) with that 25 man limit wording. We have at least 2 spots open with Avery taking one if he gets the work done at Hargrave. His is a bit misleading, however, because he essentially is still counting towards '12 because he signed and will just basically be delaying enrollment in a sense.
